Post Description

I built a small experimental speed-reader App that reformats books into a configurable three-step visual layout.

Instead of displaying text as normal paragraphs, it splits the text into blocks like this:

hello world this is a test line line line

The idea is to guide the eye through small chunks instead of long horizontal lines. The layout is configurable, for example 2 x 4 x 3, 3 x 5 x 2, etc.

It also has:

- keyboard navigation - WPM-based speed-reading autoscroll

Speed Reader – Chrome extension for RSVP speed reading

RSVP + ORP highlighting paired with automatic article parsing is the extension's real selling point — one click strips clutter and centers the word for faster scanning. The privacy-first promise (no ads, no data collection) is a nice touch, but installs and reviews are tiny and the feature set is firmly iterative: useful if you want an in-browser RSVP reader, not a breakthrough in reading tech.
