Pixel-art office village visualizes Claude Code agents with local HMAC anonymization.

Strengths
  • Local HMAC anonymization before any network call shows genuine privacy consideration
  • Fire-and-forget hook design (250ms timeout, errors swallowed) won't break Claude Code
  • Sprite generator creates varied characters from layered grayscale sheets
Weaknesses
  • Demo runs on author's home server, suggesting early/experimental stage
  • Visualization novelty may not have lasting utility beyond initial curiosity
Category
Target Audience

Claude Code users, AI agent developers, pixel art enthusiasts

Post Description

Also running live at https://demo.tokenbrook.com - hook up your own Claude instances per instructions in the repo!

This is something I've been wanting to throw together for a few weeks; I thought it'd be a fun visualization of my agents running through Claude.

I'm a nerd for retro pixel art style games so went that route. I also wanted to inject a little warmth and fun into this crazy new AI world we're living in. Enjoy!

Npx Claude-traces, visualizer for Claude Code/Agent SDK traces

Runs with one npx command and immediately surfaces a helpful timeline view with token counts, tool I/O panes and subagent nesting — exactly the sort of visibility you want when an agent goes off the rails. Cleverly reads the local ~/.claude/projects traces so setup is trivial, but its usefulness is limited by being Claude-only and local; add search/aggregation or a team-sharing mode and this jumps up a tier.
